I am M.Sc. Natasha Cvetanovska Todosovska, a graduate civil engineer and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS). I am a mother of two children who have been the greatest inspiration for my professional development in the field of lactation and breastfeeding. Becoming a parent, especially facing my own personal challenges, led me to this path, which I walk every day with great love and dedication.
My two stories are different, yet somewhat similar. Similar in the emotions and difficulties I faced in the very beginning: the feeling of helplessness, lack of professional help and support, absence of unified guidelines, attitudes, and advice… all of this sparked a quiet rebellion that grew into motivation and a mission — to formally educate myself and to “untangle” all the contradictions I struggled with in my breastfeeding journey.
My story
My education began informally, immediately after the birth of my first child in January 2015. I researched and read literature and blogs by world-renowned and reputable lactation consultants. After our move to Germany in January 2016, I continued actively advancing my knowledge in this field. In August 2020, I launched my project “Breastfeeding with Love,” simultaneously beginning formal education through which I earned the title of Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS). Meanwhile, the project grew into a recognizable brand offering comprehensive breastfeeding and lactation support: through various posts, information, guides, collaborations with other professionals, and even creating the first breastfeeding podcast in the Macedonian language. Starting in 2021, “Breastfeeding with Love” has been one of the main organizers of activities for the “World Breastfeeding Week,” held annually from August 1 to 7 worldwide.
My education continues further—through ongoing professional development, active participation in lactation conferences, seminars, and symposiums, direct work with families to address their challenges, preparation of educational content for this website and my other social media platforms, as well as educating families through breastfeeding courses and workshops on various topics related to breastfeeding and lactation.
All these years, all the gathered experiences of others, all the time spent in education and professional development, reading specialized literature, and most importantly—my two personal and somewhat challenging breastfeeding experiences—have contributed to who I am today. I am not only your consultant but also a friend who understands you; and these remain my motivation to keep moving forward.
